Field-effect transistors (FETs) are one of the most widely-used electronic sensors for continuous monitoring and detection of contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and endocrine-disrupting compounds at low concentrations. FETs have been successfully utilized for the rapid analysis of these environmental pollutants due to their advantageous material properties like the disposability, rapid responses and simplicity. This paper presented an up-to-date overview of applied strategies with different bio-based materials in order to enhance the analytical performances of the designed sensors. Comparison and discussion were made between characteristics of recently engineered FET bio-sensors used for the detection of famous and selected pharmaceutical compounds in the literature. The recent progress in environmental research applications, comments on interesting trends, current challenge for future research in endocrine-disrupting chemicals’ (EDCs) detection using FETs biosensors were highlighted. 相似文献

A new amino‐functionalized strontium–carboxylate‐based metal–organic framework (MOF) has been synthesized that undergoes single crystal to single crystal (SC‐to‐SC) transformation upon desolvation. Both structures have been characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. The desolvated structure shows an interesting 3D porous structure with pendent ?NH2 groups inside the pore wall, whereas the solvated compound possesses a nonporous structure with DMF molecules on the metal centers. The amino group was postmodified through Schiff base condensation by pyridine‐2‐carboxaldehyde and palladium was anchored on that site. The modified framework has been utilized for the Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction. The compound shows high activity towards the C?C cross‐coupling reaction with good yields and turnover frequencies. Gas adsorption studies showed that the desolvated compound had permanent porosity and was microporous in nature with a BET surface area of 2052 m2 g?1. The knowledge of hydrocarbon/water phase equilibria is important in the design and operation of equipment for petroleum transport and refining and petrochemical plants. The presence of water in a hydrocarbon mixture can affect the product quality and damage the operation equipment due to corrosion and formation of gas hydrates. The electrical properties of CeNbO4+δ have been investigated at 1073–1223 K in the oxygen partial pressure range 10− 17 to 0.36 atm. The conductivity and Seebeck coefficient behaviour indicates that, at oxygen chemical potentials close to atmospheric, tetragonal CeNbO4+δ possesses a mixed ionic and p-type electronic conductivity. The ion transference numbers under the p(O2) gradient of 0.93/0.21 atm, measured by the modified e.m.f. technique, are close to 0.4 decreasing in more reducing environments. The variations of partial ionic and electronic conductivities can be described in terms of the oxygen intercalation into the scheelite-type lattice, which results in increasing concentrations of both dominant charge carriers, oxygen interstitials and holes, when p(O2) increases. Reduction leads to p(O2)-independent electrical properties, followed by a drastic decrease in the conductivity at oxygen pressures below 10− 15–10− 9 atm due to a reversible transition into the monoclinic phase. Contrary to the zircon-type CeVO4±δ, no traces of the parent binary oxides were detected in the reduced cerium niobate. 相似文献

The general features of two series of sol-gel derived materials, designatedurethanesils (Ut), have been investigated by infrared and Raman spectroscopies with the goal of elucidating the chemical environment of
the Eu3+ cations.
The host frameworks of the two families of ormolytes studied have been represented by m-Ut(350) and d-Ut(300), where m stands
for mono, d stands for di, 350 and 300 are the average molecular weights of the organic precursors (poly(ethylene glycol)
methyl ether, PEGME, and poly(ethylene glycol), PEG, respectively).
The hybrid matrix of the mono-xerogels is composed by a siliceous backbone bonded by means of urethane linkages (-NHC (=O)O-)
to pendant methyl end capped oligopolymer chains with approximately 7 oxyethylene units, whereas that of the di-xerogels is
based on a siliceous network grafted through urethane groups to both ends of poly(oxyethylene) segments containing about 6
(OCH2CH2) repeat units.
Both classes of materials have been doped with europium triflate (Eu(CF3SO3)3). The doped samples have been identified by m-Ut(350)nEu(CF3SO3)3 and d-Ut(300)nEu(CF3SO3), where n is the molar ratio of (OCH2CH2) repeat units per Eu3+ ion. Materials with n ranging from ∞ to 5 have been analyzed. The spectral data obtained provide evidence that the cations
begin to coordinate to the ether oxygen atoms of the oligopolymer chains at n=40 in the mono-urethanesils and at n=10 in the
di-urethanesils. In mono-urethanesils samples with n>40 and in di-urethanesils materials with n>10, the Eu3+ coordinate exclusively to the carbonyl oxygen atoms of the urethane linkages.

In this work we present experimental results about the formation, properties and structure of sol — gel silica based biocomposite
containing Calcium alginate as an organic compound. Two different types of silicon precursors have been used in the synthesis:
tetramethylortosilicate (TMOS) and ethyltrimethoxysilane (ETMS). The samples have been prepared at room temperature. The hybrids
have been synthesized by replacing different quantitis of the inorganic precursor with alginate. The structure of the obtained
hybrid materials has been studied by XRD, IR Spectroscopy, EDS, BET and AFM. The results proved that all samples are amorphous
possessing a surface area from 70 to 290 m2/g. It has also been established by FT IR spectra that the hybrids containing TMOS display Van der Walls and Hydrogen bonding
or electrostatic interactions between the organic and inorganic components. Strong chemical bonds between the inorganic and
organic components in the samples with ETMS are present. A self-organized nanostructure has been observed by AFM. In the obtained
hybrids the nanobuilding blocks average in size at about 8–14 nm for the particles. 相似文献
